Clients rarely ask about one product in isolation. They have read about MYGAs, FIAs, bonus FIAs and RILAs, and they want to know why one is right for them and the others are not.

ANITA’s training program puts the four product types side by side on the same terms: what is guaranteed, where the index growth comes from, how much liquidity the client gives up, and who bears the risk of loss. Agents learn to compare a bonus FIA with its no-bonus counterpart fairly, to explain when a MYGA serves a client with a short horizon better than an FIA, and to describe RILA buffers and floors accurately.

Then agents put it to work. Using realistic client profiles, they match product type, term length and premium size to each client’s income gap, liquidity needs and time horizon. For every recommendation they write down why it fits and what would make it the wrong choice. That written reasoning is exactly what a best-interest file needs, and it gives agents a clear answer when a client or an adult child asks, “Why this one?”

RILAs are registered securities, so the RILA material is matched to each agent’s license. Agents with an insurance license only can promote RILAs. Securities-licensed agents also cover suitability and how much of a client’s portfolio should be allocated to a RILA.
